Best campground in the Asheville area for many reasons. Staff is extremely helpful. Ian is generally an ear shot away if u need anything. Beautifully maintained
We spent the night while traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway. The bathroom/shower was very clean. When we called to get a campsite, they were able to have all the information available for us as we arrived after the office had closed. There were very nice amenities for a reasonable cost. If I were to be traveling through, I would stay again.
The lots are level and very well-maintained. The staff was helpful and polite. The location was nice. The park itself offered plenty of entertainment including a small lake you can fish in and they offered small paddle boats and kayaks. Would definitely consider staying there again.
Strong recommendation! This is a great park in an awesome location for everything you want to do in the Asheville area. Quiet, peaceful, with clean bathrooms and showers. Good laundry room, and the store at the entrance is a nice plus. And the park staff are extremely helpful. NOTE: If you use Google Maps, do NOT use the street address to find the park. It takes you to the wrong entrance. Use "Rutledge Lake Rv Park, Jillian Trail, Fletcher, NC 28732". Takes you right to the gate.
Was a spur of the moment stop heading home from an RV trip. I couldn't have asked for better quality care and assistance. It was after hours and the entire rental process was quick and easy. We have a 38' 5th wheel and they even had a pull through to accommodate us. We were so pleased and the area is beautiful too! Many thanks to all!
Reasonable in price for a full service. Convenient to Asheville. Sites are tight to the next on gravel. Front is beautiful with grass. Our dog has a leg injury so it wasn’t convenient to take to the bathroom. Dog run was far for to site. Had to leave early to get her to vet in Charlotte.
The staff is just plain rude to people ! Would not recommend unless you enjoy being treated with no respect. When we called to book a month stay the young women was very short with my husband. And I feel paying $1000 a month plus electric they can at least have better customer service. Our camper broke down so we had to cancel. When my husband called back to cancel the lady on the phone said and I quote “ So your not coming now ?! Fine “ and hung up on him . We lost a $100 deposit. The sites are gravel with no concrete pads , no grass and if you request a site you might get it you might not. Oh and watch out for the duck and geese poop 🤢
Book a 3 night stay back in May for a November mid month arrival. Had a change of plans and canceled these reservations in August, months well in advance of arrival for a camping spot well out of season. This campground charged a 20.00 administration fee. What an extremely tacky way of drumming up shady administrative expenses. Will not recommend this business to my fellow campers ever.
